I was invited to South Wind Ranch’s first ever Influencer Brunch, and it was better than I could have ever imagined! I was looking forward to things like mimosas, taking pictures, and having girl time.
But what I didn’t expect was getting to meet the owner of South Wind Ranch, Ron Hakala, and being so inspired by him. He sat us down and talked openly and candidly with us about business and success and getting the most out of life. I learned so much from him and felt so empowered when I left there. He also allowed us to meet and network with all the amazing women that were there.
It was an incredible experience in an absolutely breathtaking location. Every single thing was perfect. No detail was overlooked. We had delicious mimosas, brunch, our hair and makeup touched up, a professional photographer there to take pictures, and a gift bag full of goodies given to each of us. There were also two prizes given away at the end of the event.
I loved this venue so much, and I cannot wait to go back. I encourage anyone having a wedding or big event coming up to check out South Wind Ranch in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. I promise you will not be disappointed! Not only is the location beautiful, the staff is so welcoming and they make everyone feel like family.
Below are all the details on the event and the people who made it happen! They all have hearts of gold, and I would highly recommend them all!
The Event Coordinators

These girls planned every little detail and reached out to all of us to invite us. They are not only interns for South Wind Ranch but are also full time students at Furman University. They are so sweet and did such an amazing job with the event.

The Venue: South Wind Ranch

South Wind Ranch is located in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. In addition to the huge, open-air barn where this event was, they also have a bridal suite and a couple outdoor areas where wedding ceremonies can take place. This is a location that has truly thought of everything and would make the perfect backdrop for any event.

The Florist

The arrangements were absolutely beautiful and were all done by Laura Michelle Events. Laura has years of experience in floral design and is not limited to the Upstate of South Carolina. She said she travels all over the world for events.
The Bar

The bar was run by the owner’s son, Josh, who did an excellent job of serving us pretty drinks and was very nice to talk to. Like I said, everyone there was so welcoming and made you feel like family!

Hair and Makeup Artist

Jessica from Crystal Valley Day Spa did a fabulous job of touching all of us up and making us look good for pictures!
The Photographer

All of these beautiful pictures were taken by the very talented, Kayla Jordan. The photos she captured really represent the vibe and mood of the event.

Others to Mention
In our gift bags, we each got a beautiful piece of custom jewelry from Mariposa Designs. I got a custom bracelet that is so unique.
Ron told us about an awesome digital magazine that you should definitely check out as well: Flourish by Chloe Taylor Brown.
We also got to learn about KATANA, which is a really cool device to put on your phone that allows you to trigger an alarm if you’re ever in an unsafe situation.
The Other Attendees
Thank you so much, Ron and staff for such an incredible experience that I will cherish as one of the best parts of 2020!
xoxo,
Lindsey
