If you’ve been following along with my latest blog posts, you’ve seen that I have started reading Joel Marion’s new book, Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight. This program is backed by scientific research to help you burn fat without starving yourself. (Click here to read the first post, click here to read the second post)

One of my biggest goals I wanted to achieve that I discussed in my post last week was drinking more water daily. Marion notes in his book, “Water helps digest your food, expel wastes, regulate your temperature, protect your tissues, cushion your joints, and protect your spinal column, among many other vital functions. It is through water that hormones flow to the proper organs, that nutrients reach all cells, and that toxins are diluted and removed from the body.” That is something I definitely want to be a part of! I bought a water bottle a little while ago that tracks your water intake. You are supposed to drink 2 bottles of it a day, but I am drinking around 3 bottles a day (96 ounces of water daily). So far, I have lost 5 pounds!

The Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good. Right now, I am still in the Acceleration Phase. This phase is supposed to last 2 weeks. The Main Phase lasts until you reach your ideal weight, and then the Lifestyle Phase lasts as long as you want.

The hardest part of dieting in my opinion is feeling hungry and not being able to satisfy that hunger. The most challenging times to curb hunger are just before bed and in the morning. By following the Always Eat After 7PM program, you have the most willpower to stay on the diet because you are eating during the hours when you are most hungry. This also puts you into both intermittent fasting increasing testosterone and your metabolism, while putting you into ketosis.

No Bake Salted Caramel Bars

The recipes shared in this book are incredible. If you are a fan of sweets (like me), there are tons of recipes for protein shakes, cookies, brownies, pancakes, etc. One of my personal favorites is the No Bake Salted Caramel Bars (pictured above from the book).

Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is now available to purchase. Learn more about the book and how to purchase here.

Have you gotten your copy of the book yet?!? What’s your favorite recipe?!?
