Greenville, South Carolina Plastic Surgeon Dr. Sutton Graham at the Aesthetic Center of Greenville

*This is a sponsored post. I have partnered with Dr. Graham + the Aesthetic Center of Greenville because I believe in their expertise + knowledge. All opinions below are my own.

I am SUPER excited to finally share with you all my partnership with Dr. Sutton Graham at the Aesthetic Center of Greenville! I am not exaggerating when I say they are the best, most knowledgeable + personable aesthetic professionals around!

So let me tell you how I found Dr. Graham + the experience I have had at the Aesthetic Center.

It’s no secret (because I’ve told y’all multiple times!) that I want to lose weight + get healthier. After baby number 1, I bounced back pretty quick + then lost a ton more weight. With baby number 2, I bounced back quick again + lost more than I had put on. With baby number 3, I lost the weight I had put on, but no more. I also gained a lot during quarantine. I am the biggest I have ever been, which is hard for me to admit.

I am determined to make a change though! I have been doing several things to get on the track to being healthier + losing weight! (You can read more about that in this Instagram post). Even if I reach my goals + do lose this weight, I still have a problem in my tummy area. My midsection has always been my biggest problem area. After baby number 3, it is now a BIG problem! I knew I wanted to have some sort of surgical procedure done for my midsection + I also wanted to lift my breasts (because hello, again, 3 kids!).

I did a simple Google search for plastic surgeons in the Greenville, South Carolina area + lots of different options popped up. One at the top of the list was the Aesthetic Center of Greenville. The first thing I did was go to the reviews to see what they said. They were all very positive, so I went to their website to check out more. I was very impressed with the fact that Dr. Sutton Graham founded the Aesthetic Center in 1990–which is literally the year I was born! So he has had plenty of experience! He is also certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which is important for any plastic surgeon you seek for surgery.

One of the main things that sets the Aesthetic Center apart from the rest is that they have their very own Nationally Accredited Operating Room. This means that they do almost all of the surgeries right on-site. Why does this matter? Your cost is significantly lower because you don’t have the ridiculous hospital fees! It also cuts down on contamination risks + allows you to be right there with the staff post-op to receive the best care.

I set up a consultation with Dr. Graham. Not only was the person who scheduled my appointment over the phone extremely friendly, she also spent time asking me what my goals were + letting me ask any questions I had. She emailed me over all the paperwork to do at my leisure so I didn’t have to do it all once I got there for my appointment. In the email was also a personal note from Dr. Graham thanking me for setting up a consultation + letting me know what to expect. There was also information sheets on the types of surgery I was inquiring about. To top it off, they had a map with directions of how to get to their location. Literally every question you could have was answered in that one confirmation email!

    Visiting the Aesthetic Center

When I went in for my consultation, of course they were following new guidelines to help slow the spread of COVID-19. So they sanitized my hands as soon as I came in, required that I wear a mask, took my temperature, + asked me several questions to determine if I had been exposed to anyone who had been ill. Once I was cleared, I sat down in the waiting room, but only had to wait for a minute or two before I was taken back by the nurse, Babs.

Babs is the Operating Room Director at the Aesthetic Center. She knows everything about surgical procedures from A to Z. She asked me several medical history questions as well as questions on what my goals were for surgery. She was extremely friendly, but also completely professional. She made you feel comfortable when talking about very sensitive, + sometimes, embarrassing topics. Next up she gave me a robe so I would be more comfortable with taking my shirt off + we headed to get my “before” pictures taken. But these were no ordinary photos. They were high-resolution digital images called VECTRA 3-D imaging. This virtual plastic surgery technology is the first of its kind in the Upstate region. This technology can provide you with a preview of what your results from surgery can be. How cool is that?!?

After the photoshoot, I got to meet Dr. Graham. What a delight he is. He has such a soothing, calming demeanor that is professional but makes you feel totally comfortable + relaxed. His experience + knowledge is evident with everything he says. Dr. Graham really took the time to listen to my concerns + my goals. He didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear; he told me his honest feedback + professional opinion about the best course of action. He recommended a tummy tuck + breast lift for me. After doing an exam, he told me I had diastasis recti, which is a gap in between your right and left abdominal wall muscles due to multiple pregnancies. If he did a tummy tuck, he could correct that by essentially “sewing” them back together. (By the way, Babs stays in the room the whole time during your consultation with Dr. Graham. This is good for two reasons: you’re not alone in a room with a man when you’re partially undressed + she can hear all the options discussed so she is completely versed in what the plan is.)

I was definitely impressed with Dr. Graham’s knowledge + ideas. I was ready to get it done! But I told him how I had been trying to eat better + exercise in order to lose weight, + he told me it would be best to wait until I was closer to my desired weight to do the procedures. The reason is because if I lost weight after the surgery, then my skin might get lose, thus negating the desired results from the tummy tuck. So instead of wanting to hurry up + take my money, he actually suggested I wait several months so I would get the most desirable results! Ok, now I’m even more impressed!

So, I am going to take the professional’s advice + try to get as healthy as I can before I undergo any procedure. But that doesn’t mean I’m not going to the Aesthetic Center anymore! Surgical procedures are just the beginning of what they do there!

    Non-Surgical Procedures + Skincare

This morning, I had a facial by Lauren, the esthetician there, + oh my gosh, can I do that every morning?!? My face feels like a baby’s bottom + I was the most relaxed I’ve been in a LONG time! One of the things she did was put a mask on + then applied steam to my face while the mask set. While the steam was going, she massaged my arms, which made it even more relaxing! There was also a sheet mask that she put a warm towel on top of. I cannot begin to describe how amazing it was!

Lauren was so sweet + friendly + explained everything thoroughly. She made honest recommendations on how I can improve my skin. She hooked me up with several amazing products that I can’t wait to try! Check out what she recommended below:

SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic – Combination Antioxidant

I’m supposed to use this after cleansing + toning in the morning. It’s supposed to brighten my skin + improve + prevent any signs of aging.

SkinCeuticals Metacell Renewal B3 – Comprehensive Daily Emulsion

This goes on after the antioxidant. It helps with cell turnover to refine skin texture + increase firmness.

SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense Sunscreen – Broad Spectrum SPF 50

This sunscreen goes on right before makeup application. The great thing about this is it’s slightly tinted so it’s great for those “no makeup” days!

Theraderm NuPeel – Natural Enzyme Peel

This exfoliant is only to be used 1-3 times per week at night to gently exfoliate dead skin cells.

In addition to facials, the Aesthetic Center also offers botox/fillers, chemical peels, laser treatments, CoolSculpting, + more!

Takeout in Easley, SC – Let’s Support Small Business

It’s no surprise to anyone that we are in uncertain times right now. Many businesses are taking a hit with the current state of the stock market + the mandatory closings + limitations. Small businesses are certainly being hit the hardest by all of this. I am a huge cheerleader for small businesses. I love my local restaurants more than the big chains. I love supporting them even when we’re not in a global pandemic. During this difficult time, it’s especially important that we support small businesses in any way that we can. One way we can support restaurants right now that cannot be open to the public is by ordering takeout.

I have compiled a list of my favorite places in Easley, South Carolina where you can get takeout. Today (March 24th) is #TheGreatAmericanTakeout Day + I hope everyone supports their local businesses by participating in this. But you can support them ANY day!

If you can’t support them by ordering a meal, you can like + follow their social media accounts. I have them all listed below!

    Merrell’s Pizza of Easley
    101 NE Main Street
    Easley, SC 29640
    Facebook | Instagram

Merrell’s is one of our absolute favorite places in Easley. We go eat there all the time, order delivery or pick up from them + I even had my 30th birthday celebration there. They have pizza, pasta, wings, sandwiches, salads, appetizers + just about anything you could want. I would definitely recommend them even when we’re not in a pandemic! Make sure you follow them on Instagram because they are posting daily specials!

Hours are 11:00am-9:00pm Monday-Saturday + 12:00-9:00pm on Sunday. They are offering call ins, curbside pickup + delivery. Delivery fee is $2.00. They normally deliver within a 6 mile radius, but they have extended that to 10 miles!

    Bleu Voodoo Grill
    114 E Main Street
    Easley, SC 29640
    Facebook | Instagram

We would eat at Bleu Voodoo even more than we already do if they were open more than 3 days a week! They serve cajun food, but also just about anything you could want. My son has eaten fried oysters + fried alligator here! They have shrimp + grits, burgers, chicken breast, just to name a few. The atmosphere of this place is great, but since we can’t go in right now, let’s support them by ordering takeout!

Hours are Thursday-Saturday 4:00pm-9:00pm. They are doing to-go + curbside pickup only. You can also order beer + wine to-go! They will likely have specials so stay tuned to their social media accounts to see what they will be!
